Where torn paper wrappers rub amongst themselves

Paint layers of music- crumple my hair.

My toes dig into orange sticks.

Prussian blue presses my left shoulder-

I lean to the right where my cheek feels a gush of cool air run through the partly opened box flap.

Through that little slit I saw real colors.

-But my knees could not pass through.

Your fingers stretch as they try to reach me.
But your nails; they’re too sharp, they scratch.

Should I hold my breath, clench my teeth, and weld an iron jaw?

I feel like reneging.

For life does not know care.

One by one, white vases fall and shatter.
Dust,
Stone,
Chipped off paint.

Decaying flowers-
Waterlogged,
Thirsty,
Battered,
Dying.

Preserved?

Light burns.

Stick me to the wall
And hold me with sticky tape.
Flatten me with glass
And don’t let air in.

I die of hunger.

Resurrection is a lie!

Kiss my pouting lips
And I’ll bite yours off.

Like stars you light
Love in dim moonlight.
But the sun outshines them during the day.

I stop by and bite into
The edges of your tongue.
I stop, wait, and let time bleed.
It’s lovely we’re overtly glued
But dust subdues the hues.
Just like a tourniquet around my neck
We’re pale as ever.
You’re headphones block your ear,
But you’re not deaf.
Directions light
But something blocks my toes.

Multi-colored lights
Flashing through the string of beads
That I just made for you.
I sewed them up because I like you.
You can hang them by your window.

But I trip cause it has holes.
Down the ground,
Where no one sees,
I fold.
I get mesmerized by all the stories that it holds.
The knowledge I feel makes me explode.
Pour the water down so I could kiss more toads.

However, I must tell you.
These holes are sometimes way too deep for me to sleep in.
The night grows in around my heart,
It makes me feel like weeping.

Wondering what might be love’s next surprise.

Sink water runs down the kitchen tiles
Greasy, grimy white plates tower up.
Still, I meditate on your catnip.

You steal my golden chain,
And you carry my little purse.
You try to steal my heart away,
But it’s much too glued on one side.

Your moaning cries, like stretched out strings
Navigate my twisted tunnels.
You divert my local electricity.

At nights when I should sleep,
You turn my LED lights on.
Just like tonight.

Crisp lighting strikes as if you’re near,
My fingers get so slippery.
They trance along these worn out keys
Like jelly worms ’round my body.

My eyes sew shut so I could feel
Your 3D piercing gaze.
When I finally rip them up,
Guess what, you also disappear!

How many bucketfuls of time
Should I pour out on imagining?
If i could just step out of here,
I would get high facing real fears.

Cold yellow fats, they gather up
Attracted to my sloppy gins.
If I could flash a real-life smile,
The sun would surely come shining in.

If I stop breathing smoky air,
Would I run out of breath?
If I lift my butt off this armchair,
What would happen next?

Do I have the slightest chance
Of stepping inside your presence,
If I step through these crumbling walls,
And jump over the fences?

I think I wouldn’t see you there.
So I guess, I’m not going after all.
My pessimism’s poisoning the air.
I promise, next time, I’ll attend the ball.
Next time, when the morning’s brighter.

An artist who does not speak.

Who dances awkwardly,

His elbows flapping.

I hope he danced for me.

I sat beside him, watching,

Tinkering with my files.

When he handed out my USB,

His fingertips touched mine for a little while.

He attempted to communicate,

And I got him the first time.

His hands and face lit up the second time,

My face got dumb,

And I knew he knew

That I could not synthesize.

His blue shirt got a little bluer.

He lost one sparkle in his eye.

My body got frozen,

My hinges locked.

How could I be so dumb?

I hope his sunny feet had felt me sink.

My darn cold words could never have relieved

Those stinky thoughts-

My gosh,

I do not want him to believe.

He was a perfect diamond waiting to be cut.

I just didn’t have the scissors.

Maybe time will weather that silly guy.

Anyway, I left him my calling card.

I stand here watching them invade
My nooky ginger-toes.
Under a purple wired skirt,
I feel a chill land on my nose.
